Celebrate Easter with a Family Day at Cookswood!
Join us for fun-filled spring afternoon, thoughtfully designed for families to enjoy together in a beautiful estate setting. From midday until 4pm, children are invited to get creative with arts and crafts, take part in a traditional Easter egg hunt and enjoy a selection of family-friendly games throughout the afternoon.
Families are warmly welcomed, with children very much at the heart of the day. A range of gentle, engaging activities will be available throughout the afternoon, offering moments of fun and creativity without overwhelming the peaceful nature of the event.
Dave Hickory, a professional children’s entertainer will be present, offering balloon creations and light entertainment that adds a sense of joy and playfulness while remaining in keeping with the calm surroundings.

Guests will also be invited to take part in an Easter egg hunt across the grounds, a simple pleasure that encourages exploration and discovery within the estate’s natural setting. For those who enjoy quieter creativity, egg painting and craft sessions will be available all afternoon, giving children the opportunity to create wonderful easter art to take home.
Food and hospitality are an integral part of the afternoon. Guests will enjoy a formal easter buffet, thoughtfully prepared by a wonderful local chef.

Throughout the afternoon, tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available and included offering the opportunity to pause, unwind, and enjoy the estate from a comfortable setting. Whether enjoyed indoors or while taking in the surrounding views, refreshments are intended to complement the relaxed rhythm of the day.
To preserve the atmosphere that makes events at Cookswood feel personal and unhurried, attendance is intentionally limited. The Easter gathering will welcome a maximum of 50 adult guests, ensuring that the estate never feels crowded and that each guest can enjoy the experience comfortably.
Due to this limited capacity, we recommend securing tickets early. Once the allocation of adult tickets has been reached, availability will close. This approach allows the afternoon to remain true to the values of Cookswood: calm, connection, and quality over quantity.
