Now Open: The Stag at Cookswood

We are delighted to announce that The Stag has officially opened its doors this Summer and is now welcoming visitors seven days a week, from 10am until 4pm.

Nestled in the heart of the Somerset countryside at the entrance to Cookswood, The Stag has been thoughtfully created as a place to pause, gather and enjoy the simple pleasures of delicious food and drink in a beautiful setting.

Our café menu features expertly prepared coffee, a tempting selection of homemade baked goods, and an ever-changing offering of light bites. Guests can enjoy freshly made sandwiches, seasonal salads, indulgent desserts and other carefully crafted dishes, all made with quality local ingredients and a focus on flavour.

Alongside the café, we are proud to showcase some of the finest produce Somerset has to offer. Visitors can browse and purchase a range of fresh, locally sourced goods, including artisan cheeses, fresh milk, freshly baked bread and other carefully selected products from wonderful local suppliers.

The opening of The Stag marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. As we continue to develop and grow, we have many plans in store, with new experiences, events and offerings already in the works. We are committed to creating a destination that evolves alongside our community and gives visitors even more reasons to return.
