Cookswood Supports: The Stoke St Michael Duck and Boat Race

At Cookswood, we believe in supporting our local community and were pleased to support this year's Stoke St Michael Duck and Boat Race. The event, which took place on a bright and cheerful day, brought together villagers of all ages for a fun-filled day on the water.
The turnout was reportedly excellent, and members of the community who couldn't attend were able to join in the fun by purchasing ducks from the village shop beforehand. The event raised a significant amount of money for some very deserving causes in Stoke St Michael, including the Village Hall, the Toddler Group, and the School PTA.
We are so proud to have been able to sponsor this wonderful event. It's events like these that remind us how special our local community is - coming together to create happy memories and lasting bonds.
A big thank you to everyone involved, from the organisers to the participants and those working behind the scenes. We’re already looking forward to next year’s local Summer events, and more opportunities to help out in any way we can.
